This page explains what we collect when you join the Stop Excuses private-beta waitlist, why, and what your rights are. It covers the waitlist only, not the Stop Excuses product app.
What we collect
Your email address (required), so we can keep you posted with product updates.
Your name (optional), to address you personally.
Your challenge idea (optional, free text), to understand what people want to run.
Your language preference (en/nl) and the date you signed up.
We do not collect payment details, and we never collect proof, photos, or money.
Why we use it (legal basis)
We process this data on the basis of your consent (GDPR/AVG art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the waitlist form.
We use it only to run the private-beta waitlist: to contact you about access, gauge demand, and prepare your group's onboarding. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or automated decision-making.
Analytics
The landing page uses privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (page views and anonymous events). We do not send your name, email, or challenge idea to any analytics provider.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist data until the private beta concludes or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. After that, it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Just email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
